BOAT SKIPPERS – SEASONAL POSITIONS BUT WITH POSSIBILITY OF FULL TIME POSITION FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE

To be considered for this role you MUST have:

• Workboat Skipper Ticket or Powerboat Advanced with current valid Commercial Endorsement or equivalent
• Radar/GMDSS
• Sea Survival
• First Aid
• Current ENG1 Medical Certificate
• Other skills/trade would be advantageous but not essential.

Seasonal posts will be for a minimum of 28 weeks starting around mid-March until around mid-September 2021 with possibility of an extension thereafter.

Candidates must be willing to work overtime including rotational weekends which will be paid with enhanced rates.

Candidates must be able to provide a Basic Disclosure Scotland Certificate no longer than 3 months old prior to start date.

Transport is provided between Lerwick and Sullom Voe with pickup points on the main route only.

Driving License not essential but would be advantageous.
